As it turned out, I did not cancel my backordered Berroco Zen yarn, it arrived yesterday - and I'm glad I didn't. The color is stunning (Tokyo Rose)! So much more vibrant (and so much more "my color") than the celery-colored Zen I started my Sprout project in. So my knitting buddie says, "What are you going to do now? Scrap the celery yarn and start the project over with the new yarn?" I must say, it was very tempting; however, since I am nearly to the armhole shaping on the back, I will persevere and finish the Sprout project in celery (besides, it matches my skirt).
I am really loving this ribbon yarn. It is very "crunchy" and fun and has some great reflective highlights. The only recommendation I would make is to use bamboo needles when knitting with Zen because it loves to slide around on metal needles.
I just ordered some more Viva by Tahki yarn on clearance - I love this yarn. Looks like "buttonhole" scarves (and hats) will be the big Christmas item this year.
