I Just Called to Say I Love You... Last night Husband and I dropped the kids off at the church’s game night and then we went out to dinner at a quaint little café in downtown Sacramento called Café Bernardo. After a light supper of pasta salad and fresh baked bread, we browsed The Beat, a new-used-vintage record store. I picked up a used Stevie Wonder Greatest Hits Collection to which I am currently listening. I keep marveling at the accomplishments of this man whose career has spanned decades. Not only is he a talented singer and song writer, he also plays drums, keyboards, and harmonica with a unique exuberance that is all Stevie. *** Knitting Progress (or lack thereof...) Kureyon Multi-Directional Scarf: I am just over halfway; having just attached the second ball of yarn. Takhi Diva Yarn: I am knitting a matching hat to go with a button-hole scarf I knitted a couple of months ago. This hat starts at the crown and then increases around. I’m just about to knit 2 inches of stst around before casting off. Triangle Shawl: Once I frogged it, I haven’t picked it up again. Wave and Shell Shawl Knit-A-Long: I admit it, I couldn’t pass up this challenge. Here is a picture of some beautiful hand-dyed fingering weight wool I have slated for this project. Of course I want to keep this stole for myself – so much for “Knitting for Nica.” or Christmas gifts. UFO's Sprout and ChicKami still stalled. I think I may have to add a new category to my sidebar for UFO’s (UnFinished Objects) for those projects that probably won’t be touched again until the Spring. Off to the California State Fair tomorrow! Have a good weekend All!
