I commissioned my friend (and co-worker) and crafter extraordinaire, badcat Karin, to make a pair of quilted slippers for my niece's second birthday. Aren't they adorable? I want a pair! I love the way Karin combines fabrics and then free-form machine quilts them to create such interesting designs. ~~~~ I'm only 2" (out of 8") into Marilyn's collar. Life is really cutting into my knitting time (sigh).
